Available portlets
Depending on the system configuration, the following portlets will be available to you:

| First Steps | Individual basic functions can, for example, offer quick access to create or import a course or learning resource. The quick access to the question bank for test resources is also included in this portlet. | |
| Favourites | This portlet gives you an overview of all courses and groups that you have marked as favourites. | |
| Recently Opened | Your last opened courses are linked here. | |
| Assessment Results | You will be shown an overview of all courses that you have already completed. | |
| My Groups | This portlet lists all groups in which you are registered as a tutor or participant. | |
| Supervising | This portlet lists all the courses that you are responsible for as a supervisor. It is only visible to authors. | |
| Attending | You will be shown a list of all courses in which you are enrolled. | |
| My Institution | In this portlet, information about your institution is displayed. Only the institution’s administrators as well as system administrators can customise the content of the portlet for their institution. | |
| Interesting Information | This portlet provides a general search field to find resources and displays courses that may sound interesting to you in preview boxes. For this purpose, the most frequently opened courses for one month will be selected from your course catalogue. The search period can be altered in the configuration view of the portlet. | |
| Course News | Here you can see messages from subscribed courses. | |
| News | In this portlet, interesting information about the learning platform is displayed. | |
| My Events | This portlet shows all upcoming dates for the next 7 days from your calendar. | |
| My Notes | This portlet provides you with a quick access to your course notes. | |
Depending on the content you usually rely on when working with the learning platform, you can activate different portlets and reposition them as required. The positioning is done via drag and drop. Simply drag the portlet to the desired position.
Add portlet
To add a portlet to the home page, proceed as follows:
| 1 | Open the tab Home page. | |
| 2 | Click on Add portlet. | |
| 3 | A window opens with a list of all available portlets. | |
| 4 | Click on Add to add all desired portlets. | |
| 5 | The window closes and the selected portlet(s) will be displayed on the home page. | |
| 6 | Move the portlet(s) via drag and drop to the desired position in order to customise your home page. The availability of different portlets depends on both the configuration of the learning platform and your institution. The portlet My Notes, for example, is not available to all users. |
Delete portlet
To remove a portlet from the home page, proceed as follows:
| 1 | Open the tab Home page. | |
| 2 | Click on the gear icon in the upper right corner of the portlet to open the configuration menu. | |
| 3 | Select Hide to remove the portlet from your home page. Via Add portlet, a removed portlet can be reintegrated into the home page at any time. |
Configure portlet
To customise the elements of a portlet, proceed as follows:

| 2 | Click on the gear icon in the upper right corner of the portlet to open the configuration menu. | |||||||

Edit content of the portlet My Institution
Only the institution's administrators as well as system administrators can customise the content of the portlet My Institution.
Set course or learning resource as home page
Set course or learning resource as home page
You can set any course or learning resource visible to you as your personal home page. After successful login, you will then be directed to this page.
| 1 | Open the resource you wish to set as your home page. | |
| 2 | Click on the expand iconin the upper right corner. | |
| 3 | Select the entry Set “course/learning resource” as home page. | |
| 4 | With the next login, this course or learning resource will be displayed directly after the login. |
Change selected home page
Once you select the entry Set “course/learning resource” as home page from within another resource, this new resource will be displayed after the login.
Remove course or learning resource as home page
To display portlets on your home page again, proceed as follows:
| 1 | Log in to the platform. The resource currently selected as your home page opens. | |
| 2 | Click on the expand iconin the upper right corner. | |
| 3 | Select the entry Remove “course/learning resource” as home page. | |
| 4 | With the next login, your home page will again display portlets. |
